Cellulite Diet Tips

What is cellulite?  It’s that ugly cottage cheese looking stuff that lies below the surface of your skin in your thighs, bum, stomach, and even arms.  Cellulite is a problem that affects approximately 90% of women today.  It’s something that is a painful reminder of the ageing process and effects of a sedentary lifestyle.  I suffered, myself, for about a decade, but I did find the way to melt away the nasty stuff.  If you’re looking for clues into an “anti cellulite diet”, here you go…

The first thing you want to do is put down your diet drinks!  The stuff that makes it sweet also makes your brain think you’re hungry.  It actually makes you want to eat more!  It’s not good for you and you don’t need it.  Drink water instead – lots of it.  Your body is made up of mostly water and you need to replenish it every day.  Most people are dehydrated because they don’t get enough water.  You should drink between .5 and .67 ounces of water for every pound you weight.  So for instance… if you weigh 150 pounds, you should drink between 75 and 100 ounces every day.  I am willing to bet you aren’t anywhere close to that.  I like to drink bottles of water purchased from the store.  Each bottle is 16.9 ounces, so I like to drink about 5 a day.

Next is to eat lots of fruits and vegetables.  If you are eating salad, make sure you aren’t packing on the calories by pouring high fat dressing on top.  You can totally defeat the purpose here.  Go for low fat, or vinegar and olive oil.  You get the idea.  The next time you’re in the grocery store, look at how many calories are in 2 tablespoons of Ranch dressing.  It will shock you!

If there are certain veggies or fruits you don’t like, don’t worry about it.  Eat as much as you can of what you DO like.  Variety can be key for many women.  That’s the nice thing about season changes and produce at your local grocery store.  One item ends as a fresh crop and another replaces it.  I like sampling the different varieties of apples throughout the summer and fall.  Speaking of apples… it is true what they say about an apple a day.  There is a lot of fiber and a great source of vitamins, too.  I highly recommend as staples in your diet apples, carrots, and spinach.  Apples and carrots are great to keep handle when you need a snack.  Spinach is a power-packed with Beta Carotene, six B vitamins, vitamins, C, E & K, etc.  Use it for your salads.  Try a raspberry vinaigrette, cran-raisins, walnuts, a sprinkle of feta cheese, and a couple slices of apple.  Yummy!

You will also need high quality, low fat protein sources, too.  Think boneless, skinless chicken breast, etc…  Cottage cheese is one of my favorites.  It’s a complete amino acid and is great after a workout.

As I said earlier, I tried over ten years to get rid of my cellulite.  I tried all the fad diets, cheesy products, and finally found a powerful combination of exercise and foods that melted away my cellulite in only 12 days.  Granted, I didn’t have as much to lose as some women I’ve helped through the years, but it was a feat that raised my self-esteem incredibly!  I have helped many women lose their cellulite.  I know it will help you, too.  Order my Goodbye Cellulite System and find out my secret weapons in the battle against cellulite.
